Thank you so much for doing a wonderful job on that cake. Blake’s eyes lit up when I opened the box and said “Do you know what that looks like” and he grinned away so I think he knew but you just never know. With Alzheimer’s they sometimes say they know stuff when they don’t.
We shared the cake with many of the residents and staff. Some of the residents even had 2 pieces! which was excellent. There was about less than 1/2 remaining so I asked that at dinner they invite the residents to sample it if they so desired. My son came in too and thought it was a great piece of work! I brought home a few pieces for myself too! 😊
Anyway, just wanted you to know. Here’s a pic of Blake with the cake! I gave the cards to your Dad too but kept about 10 for moi.

Today was our big celebration. We had a ball but most of all, the ladies were, once again, taken aback by the beauty of your creations. The taste was out of this world as well. Each woman carefully wrapped up her own little hat to take home as a momento.
